- Raise standards of attainment across the age and ability range and so raise standards across all subjects
- Improve the quality and range of teaching and learning across all subjects
- Be innovative in our teaching and learning methodologies
- Provide opportunities for internationalism and related activities within and outside of the formal curriculum including involvement in multi-cultural activities
- Work with parents and others including the business community to prepare young people for the future
- Contribute to the lifelong learning of the local community and play our part in the regeneration and re-skilling of the region
- Develop young people as well behaved, honest, caring and enterprising citizens.
