By Car

Ponteland is easily reached from North and South via the A1, and from East and West via the A69 trunk roads.

From the A1, follow the signs for the Airport, then Ponteland (A696). At the garden centre roundabout take the B6545 signposted Darras Hall. The High School is visible on the right as you approach the next roundabout.

From the A69, take the turnoff marked Airport and Ponteland. Follow signs for Ponteland. At the T junction turn right, then take the next turning left. The school is visible as you approach the first roundabout. Continue to the second roundabout and bear right on Callerton Lane.

Please park in the visitors' car park. The High School entrance is directly ahead, beyond the Middle School building.

By Metro/Train

Trains arrive at Newcastle Central Station. From there, a Metro service runs directly to Newcastle Airport. Metro trains also run from Newcastle, Sunderland and the Coast and terminate at the Airport. There are bus services that run from Newcastle Airport to Ponteland village.

By Bus

Buses to Ponteland High School and Ponteland Village leave from Eldon Square in Newcastle. Application forms for Nexus Teen Travel ID Cards are available at school. Please contact the School Office or the Headteacher's PA.
